Our History

​

Our firm was founded by John Matkowsky to help investors and businesses immigrate to Canada.  In a previous career, he was a licensed Chartered Investment Manager (Portfolio Manager) working in the financial markets for major Canadian Banks and Private Family Trusts.  He transitioned from helping individuals and families manage their investments to helping them immigrate to Canada under investor and business programs.

Today, Matkowsky Immigration Law practices in all areas of Canadian immigration Law.  From application preparation for permanent residence to work and study permits, family sponsorship, immigration appeals, overcoming inadmissibility, strategizing applications for successful Express Entry selection.
