In the most recent draw, 3,202 candidates were selected and issued ITAs (invitations to apply). The CRS score still remains at elevated levels, as the backlog of candidates created in June is worked through.
The increase in the CRS score for the last 2 draws is a direct result of a 6 week draw delay experience in June. The delay was caused by the IRCC changing the Express Entry rules on June 6 to add additional points for candidates with siblings in Canada, and for native french speakers.
Typically, draws are held every 2 to 3 weeks, with 3,000 - 4,000 candidates invited during each round. With the recent draw delay of 6 weeks, candidates have accumulated in the Express Entry pool, some with higher scores. Our firm anticipates the CRS score to decline to 420 - 430 range in the coming months as the backlog diminishes.
Candidates who are interested to immigrate to Canada, are encouraged to start the process soon and take advantage of the lower scores which are anticipated in the upcoming months.

Candidates who are granted a PNP nomination are awarded 600 points to add to their Express Entry score, guaranteeing to be selected to apply for PR.
