Congratulations to all our clients, and other candidates who were invited to apply for Permanent Residence in today's draw. In total, the IRCC invited 2,801 candidates from the Express Entry pool who had a score of 438 points and higher.
Candidates who were selected and issued an ITA (invitation to apply), have only 90 days to submit the full, formal application. It is important for Candidates to ensure they have all required documents ready before the deadline, or else the invitation will expire or if submitted, the application will be refused.
The program is named Express Entry as it is a streamlined process to ensure applications are processed quickly, within the IRCC's desired 6-month time frame. To ensure the process is efficient and quick, the Express Entry program only processes and approves applications that are complete, and accurate. The IRCC will not provide a candidate an opportunity to submit subsequent documents after they formally apply. Our firm works with our clients to collect, prepare and submit a duly completed application which will ensure it has the best chances of approval, without delay or refusal.
To calculate your Express Entry score, use our Express Entry CRS Calculator. Candidates with a score of at least 400 points are strong candidates and encouraged to apply. If you don't score enough points, you may be eligible to apply to a PNP program based on an In-Demand Occupation. Candidates who are granted a PNP nomination are awarded 600 points to add to their Express Entry score, guaranteeing to be selected to apply for PR. If you are currently not eligible to apply or not a strong candidate based on a low CRS score, you may consider studying in Canada as a pathway to PR.
If you are unsure of your eligibility to apply, we can provide a free assessment and evaluate your immigration options. Contact us today and we can help you make Canada home.
