In the latest Express Entry draw, the IRCC issued 3,750 ITAs to candidates who were in the Express Entry pool with a CRS score of 440 and higher. The CRS cut-off score is yet again stubbornly holding above the 440 level, where it has remained throughout 2018.
This is now the sixth draw in a row with a size of 3,750. We were hoping the IRCC would increase the draw size to 4,000 for this draw, to support lower CRS scores in the 435 - 440 range. Hopefully this will happen in the next draw, with the IRCC holding this draw size for 5 draws. As we move into the fall months, we anticipate the CRS score to decrease into the 430 - 440 range, but not below this level.
In 2018, 85,000 people are expected to be selected in Express Entry system, under the Federal Skilled Worker program.
