The IRCC invited 3,900 candidates to apply for Permanent Residence via Express Entry in today's draw who had a CRS score of 445+. Our firm was hopeful that the CRS score would decrease after the IRCC increased the draw sizes to 3,900. Unfortunately, the CRS cut-off score is still stubbornly holding above the 440 level, where it has remained throughout 2018. Our firm does not anticipate the CRS score lowering below 440 for the remainder of this year, 2018.
Candidates who are interested to immigrate should start the process now, to enter into the pool before the beginning of 2019. As evidenced in past years, the CRS score is typically lower at the beginning of the year than the latter half of the year.
The quota for 2018 is to invite 85,000 people to apply for PR via the Express Entry system, under the Federal Skilled Worker program.
The ideal candidate under Express Entry has a score of at least 435+. To calculate your Express Entry score, use our Express Entry CRS Calculator.
